Nick Wakefield is a talent strategist, culture leader, performance coach, and diversity champion driven to transform work through technology and experiences that empower individuals to reach their full potential. Nick has served the transportation field through Human Resources, Customer Service, and Driver Recruiting and Retention roles over the last 15+ years, and currently is the Chief People Officer with Ascend. He serves as an Advisory Commission Member on the Pierce County Transportation Advisory Commission, representing the Long-Haul Transportation sector.
Nick achieved a master’s degree in Organizational Management in 2002. Nick lives in Sumner, Washington with his wife.
