NEXT Top Talent Award
Recognizing Rising Stars in Trucking
The NEXT Top Talent Award recognizes exceptional professional drivers and diesel technicians under the age of 30 who go above and beyond in their roles. This award celebrates the next generation of trucking professionals who demonstrate excellence, leadership, and a passion for the industry.
Award Criteria
We’re looking for young professionals who:
- Demonstrate skill, safety, and professionalism
- Show initiative and continued career growth
- Contribute positively to their team and workplace
- Inspire others through their passion, work ethic, and commitment to the industry
Nominate a Rising Star
Nominations open September 1 and close October 9, 2026.
Nominate an outstanding driver or diesel technician under the age of 30. Please include a photo and, if available, a short video to help tell their story.
Award recipients will be announced on October 27, 2026.

NGT Student of the Month Program
The Next Generation in Trucking Association’s Student of the Month Program recognizes outstanding students in secondary or post-secondary education who are pursuing careers in trucking and the broader supply chain industry. This award is given out monthly to celebrate exceptional students making a difference.
This award honors students who:
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to their education and career goals.
- Show exceptional leadership and teamwork skills.
- Actively participate in programs related to trucking, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Exhibit a passion for making a positive impact on the industry.
Winners will be featured in our newsletter and socials and will receive an award in the mail.
