What inspired you to pursue a career in trucking?
I wanted to explore job opportunities in the military and find a role that involves travel.
What has been your favorite part of the program so far?
My favorite part of this program has been gaining the experience and opportunity to learn how to drive a truck in a hands-on setting.
What advice would you give to other students thinking about joining this program?
Some advice I would give to other students considering joining this program is to stay focused on the material being taught and to work diligently towards your goals.
How do you see trucking fitting into your future career goals?
I’m planning to join the North Dakota National Guard and hold a side job as a motor transport operator.
Is there a moment or accomplishment you’re most proud of in this program?
I entered this program not knowing how to back a trailer up and drive a manual. Mr. Hays has taught me all the basics and even provided more helpful advice for my future.
